Inspired by a tradition handed down by their father, Antonio Cerda, and embraced by the family Masia, 2010 became the year that Antoni, Pau, and his wife Teresa Cerdà, set out on an adventure to create a contemporary quality wine with a vision of the future.
2017 has been a difficult year. We have had a tough winter and copious rain during springtime but from the month of May, suffering a particularly dry climate. We have been up to 77 days without one drop of rain and this has affected the natural growth of the grapes. The harvest started 10 days earlier than normal. We have harvested up to 32% less than the previous year. On the other hand, the grape harvested has been healthy and clean, without any kind of disease.
“We bet for wines that hold the
uniqueness of our terroir”
For this last vintage, wines have evolved gratefully in the cellar. We are extremely happy with the results. High quality is assured and we are going to be able to offer a lot of freshness and personality in each bottle.
